Our mission
Finding reliable local help shouldn't be hard. Yet most people still rely on word of mouth — or take a chance with an unknown tradesperson found through a classified ad — because the existing platforms are either too expensive, too impersonal, or too easy to game.
FyxLocal was built to change that. We created a marketplace that puts trust at the centre: every Helper is identity-verified before they can take on work, every payment is protected until the job is done, and every review comes from a real, completed booking.
We believe local communities are stronger when neighbours can help each other — and when the people offering that help are treated fairly, paid promptly, and given the tools to build a real reputation.

Your money is protected
Payment is held in escrow by Stripe until you confirm the work is done. Helpers never receive payment until you're satisfied.

Only users who have completed a real, paid booking can leave a review. No fake reviews, no incentivised ratings.
No cold calls, no lead-buying
Helpers apply to jobs they genuinely want. Job posters review real applications with prices. No one is paying for unqualified leads.
